Call for an inventory of groundwater wells and boreholes

The Water Management Administration reminds us that any new drilling or well for groundwater extraction is subject to authorization and a prior environmental impact assessment.

To ensure a complete inventory of existing boreholes and wells in Luxembourg, citizens are invited to declare their installations. This will contribute to better protection of our drinking water resources, a precious commodity for all.
