Brill Park has been transformed into a large movie theater

Following last year’s success, the Mamer Municipal Youth Commission once again organized a two-night outdoor movie series at Brill Park this year. The event was once again partnered with Sunset Cinema.
This year, the films “The Intouchables” and “Madagascar” were shown on a giant screen. Before the main feature, short films from the Film Fund Luxembourg were screened. Many people made their way to Brill Park on both evenings and settled comfortably on a blanket or in a chair on the grass to enjoy the movie while munching on delicious popcorn and sipping a refreshing drink. Members of the Youth Commission took charge of serving drinks, while several food trucks were on site to treat the spectators.
Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener, and members of the municipal council also took the opportunity to enjoy a lovely evening or two at Brill Park.
