Big turnout at the Repair Café in Holzem

The Repair Cafés have become a not-to-be-missed event in the Commune of Mamer. Whether in Mamer, Capellen or Holzem, where the Commission for Energy Transition, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development organises them in turn, they are always well attended.

The same was true of the last event at the Holzem village hall, with many people coming and going throughout the afternoon. Mayor Luc Feller and Alderman Ed Buchette, in his capacity as Chairman of the Commission, were also present and looked over the shoulder of the repairers as they patiently and skilfully restored the many faulty appliances to working order.

All this in a convivial setting where visitors could sit down over a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and chat while they waited for their faulty appliances or dull knives to be repaired.
