Back to School in Mamer and Capellen

For nearly 900 children, the new school year began under sunny skies. The elementary schools in Mamer and Capellen were once again bustling with activity. At 8:00 a.m., the students went to their classrooms, where they were welcomed by their teachers and received all the necessary information about the new school year.
Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener, and School Board President Nadine Schmid visited the Kinneksbond campus in Mamer and Capellen to get a sense of how the new school year was getting off to a start. They wished the students and teaching staff an excellent and productive school year.
As they do every year, the APEM (Mamer Parents’ Association) and the APECH (Capellen and Holzem Parents’ Association) had prepared a delicious breakfast. It was also an opportunity to chat about the children, school, and many other topics.
