The chalet in the courtyard of the Mamer Schlass was well attended during the Christmas edition of the Babbelcafé. The Commission Communale du Vivre-Ensemble Interculturel, which regularly organizes this event, had come up with an original idea. Not only were participants able to get to know each other in a pleasant Christmas atmosphere, over a drink and some appetizers, but they also had the opportunity to try out different board games. And it wasn’t just the children who were enthusiastic about the idea.
Different cultures and languages were no barrier. The mood was upbeat throughout the afternoon.
Members of the local council also visited the chalet to chat and play with the locals.
Babbelcafés are held regularly in the commune. Their aim is to bring citizens together and strengthen social cohesion.
