Reopening of the Autumn market

In glorious summer weather, the Mamer market celebrated its autumn season.

Alderman Roger Negri, accompanied by Alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the local council, kicked off the new season. It was already the 18th edition of this autumn season, an anniversary that particularly delighted Jeff Bourg, President of the Luxembourg Market Association.

In addition to the usual offerings – meat, olives, tapenades, plants and flowers, craft beer and Italian specialties – this year saw the addition of a number of novelties, including a stand selling fresh homemade pasta and different varieties of honey. The presence of a company offering information in the field of energy transition also aroused public interest.

Drinks and grills were served by the Harmonie Gemeng Mamer, while the Magic Jazz Band provided musical entertainment.
