Art students exhibit their work

Many people attended the opening of the exhibition featuring the works of students of a watercolor course at the Galerie sur la Cap. The course was organized by the Commune de Mamer and led by renowned artist Iva Mrazkova.
The official opening of the exhibition was also attended by Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, and members of the local council. In his speech, the Mayor expressed his delight that so many people were so interested in art and painting. According to him, this exhibition is proof that the courses are a real hit with the locals. For her part, Iva Mrazkova emphasized that the primary aim of the courses was to awaken participants’ interest in art. However, hidden talents are frequently discovered.
In any case, the exhibition was a great success. Right from the opening, many visitors were enthusiastic about the works on display, some of which were also available for purchase.
