Once again this year, the Commune de Mamer, in collaboration with Patrimoine Roses Luxembourg, organized a rose pruning course. Around 40 people took part.
After a theoretical introduction given by experts Pierre Lauwers, expert and gardener in charge of green spaces for the town of Le Roeulx (B), and Amandine Marinx, member of the jury of the Royal Concours International de Roses Nouvelles in Le Roeulx (B), participants moved on to the rose garden behind the Mamer Schlass for the practical part. Participants were very interested and asked a lot of questions.
At the end of the afternoon, a conference was again on the program, during which listeners were given lots of interesting information on rose diseases and pests.
