This Saturday at 5.30pm, the VC Mamer ladies will play the decisive match for the title against Gym Volley at the Nic. Frantz sports hall in Mamer.
The second match of the final, played in a “best of three” format, was won by the team from the capital after an intense five-set duel. The players from Mamer had made a fine comeback from 0:2 to 2:2 before narrowly losing the tie-break (25:16, 25:21, 26:28, 22:25, 15:10) , despite the unfailing support of their supporters, including Mayor Luc Feller, Alderman Roger Negri and Alderwoman Francine Closener.
After two hotly contested finals, with a win for each side, everything will come down to the final match, which promises to be a fascinating affair.
