Biodiversity monitoring in the commune of Mamer

The Sicona nature conservation association, of which the commune of Mamer is a member, has set up a “biodiversity monitoring” program to identify the plant species present in the species-rich, extensively farmed meadows and pastures in the commune of Mamer.

Grassland mapping” has been carried out for over 25 years. The same method is still used today to inventory plant species in species-rich meadows and pastures. This enables us to draw conclusions about the evolution of these precious areas.
