A rainy but successful start to the school year

In the pouring rain, for more than 800 children, the start of the new school year once again signalled a return to seriousness. In the primary schools of Mamer and Capellen, the atmosphere was lively.

The doors had been opened earlier so that each child could reach their classroom more or less dry. There, the teaching staff gave them all the necessary information about the new school year.

The mayor, Luc Feller, aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener, and the president of the School Commission, Nadine Schmid, visited the Kinneksbond campus and Capellen to see how the start of the school year was going and to wish the students and teaching staff a great start to the school year and every success for the new school year.

The APEM ((Association des Parents d’Élèves de Mamer) and the APECH (Association des Parents d’Élèves de Capellen et Holzem) once again treated parents and school staff to coffee and pastries in both buildings.
