Mary’s Daughters

On an immaculate stage, three dancers become one in this sensual ode to femininity.
In a fairytale universe bathed in bluish hues, they appear as goddesses, mermaids or perhaps witches, possessors of archaic power. For her first piece, Catarina Barbosa brings together three women who embark on a choreographic ritual celebrating collective strength, listening and sisterhood.
Their bodies express what words cannot: motherhood, pleasure, the freedom to be oneself. Together, they invent a place of trust, far from fear and judgment, where intimacy can flourish. A dance of creation, vulnerability and joy, sketching out the contours of a new world.
