In Mamer, the end of the year is always synonymous with winter events (ice rink, Almhütt, Wanter Bar, Christmas Market) as part of ‘Winter Moments’.
The Winter Moments will run from 29 November 2024 to 5 January 2024.

The Commune de Mamer’s new Coursëbuet for the first half of 2024/2025 has just been published.
You’ll find a wide range of courses, training and workshops for adults and children alike.
Courses are offered in a wide range of areas, including sport, health, exercise, social skills, languages, art and culture.
Registration opens on 15th of July 2024 and closes on 28th of August 2024.

Mobility is a major component of quality of life.
This new brochure, available in three languages, gives you a comprehensive overview of the mobility options available in the municipality of Mamer and how you can combine different means of transport to suit your personal needs.
Thanks to the QR codes on almost every page, you can consult additional information using your mobile phone or be redirected directly to the timetables. You’ll also find a page devoted to mobility subsidies.

This is why the municipality of Mamer is implementing an ambitious waste management and circular economy policy. The issue of waste reduction plays a central role in this.
Please find enclosed the updated version of the ‘Guide du Tri des Déchets’ (Waste Sorting Guide) with a whole series of good practices to separate your waste and improve its subsequent treatment.

As a citizen of the Commune of Mamer, you can apply for a whole range of subsidies in the fields of the environment, mobility, housing, social affairs and education.
To find out which grants you are entitled to and what conditions must be met to obtain them, please refer to the updated ‘2024 Subsidies’ brochure.
* New financial assistance is available for young people aged 18 who wish to explore Europe by train using an ‘InterRail’ ticket.
*The age of people living alone or in a couple who are entitled to a subsidy for snow clearance and hedge trimming has been reduced to 65.
* There have also been changes to the private subsidies available to local residents for energy renovation and renewable energy projects.
