Sécher Doheem is the national home emergency call service managed by the Stëftung Hëllef Doheem. A home emergency call system is an important link in the home care chain, helping elderly and/or dependent people to feel safe and secure, even if they are alone. A remote alarm consists of a device connected to the telephone line and a small transmitter. The emergency call can be triggered by a bracelet, medallion, fall detector, presence detector or motion detector. In the event of an emergency call, the alarm is transmitted to a centre that is manned 24 hours a day and organises the necessary assistance.
Sécher Doheem has been certified under the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system since 2005. With its central station and a wide range of state-of-the-art fixed and mobile transmitters, Sécher Doheem offers you solutions tailored to the highest levels of quality and security.
The Sécher Doheem service can provide information on the procedures to follow and the costs involved in installing, renting and operating remote alarm equipment. Some local authorities contribute to the monthly fees and/or installation costs.
