In accordance with the Law of February 25, 2022, on cultural heritage, such use is <strong>subject to authorization from the Ministry of Culture<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>As part of a national awareness campaign, the National Institute for Archaeological Research (INRA) reminds the public that<strong> unauthorized detection can damage archaeological heritage<\/strong> and pose significant risks, particularly if ammunition or other remnants of war are discovered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span>Violations of the law may be punishable by <strong>fines ranging from 500 to 1,000,000 euros.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please find attached the poster with key information for download: &#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/CAMPAGNE-PAS-DE-DETECTEURS-DE-METAUX.pdf\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-54720\">NO METAL DETECTORS&#8221; CAMPAIGN<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The use of metal detectors or any similar equipment by private individuals is strictly regulated in Luxembourg.
