At 9:30 a.m., the race began under temperatures that were, thankfully, lower than those of the previous days. In the elite women\u2019s race, Marie Schreiber won the sprint ahead of Nina Berton, while Liv Wenzel rounded out the podium.  <\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The afternoon was entirely devoted to the men&#8217;s races, with the U23 and elite categories taking the start. In the elite category, after a thrilling race, Arthur Kluckers claimed the championship title, ahead of Mathieu Kockelmann and Mats Wenzel. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>The mayor of Mamer, Luc Feller, aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener, and several members of the municipal council<\/strong> cheered on the cyclists. <strong> Sports Minister Martine Hansen and Finance Minister Gilles Roth<\/strong> also watched the races in person. Together with Mamer Mayor Luc Feller and officials from the cycling federation, they presented medals to the top three finishers. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Despite the summer-like temperatures, <strong>many spectators<\/strong> lined the course. The atmosphere was excellent all day long. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">As part of the championship, <strong>a little surprise was in store for Bruno Mergen, a member of the organizing committee<\/strong>.
