When the approximately 240 guests arrived in the early evening under the Skyliner on Independence Square, it was still quite warm, so a cold drink was most welcome. The atmosphere was excellent. There was plenty of conversation and laughter.   <\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener, and members of the municipal council also made the trip to the Skyliner to celebrate volunteerism with local clubs.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In his speech, <strong>the mayor emphasized the importance of community organizations within the municipality<\/strong>. \u201cIn Mamer, the clubs are very committed and dynamic,\u201d he said. \u201cThey are an essential pillar of social cohesion, integration, and a vibrant community life.\u201d That is why many projects will continue to be carried out with and for these organizations.
