Around 70 people, including active firefighters and members of the Amicale, turned out at the Mamer Schlass to celebrate together with  <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif;\">Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, and members of the Municipal Council<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The evening was marked by a <strong>change at the helm of CISMA<\/strong>. After 7 years, Patrick Franck hands over the reins to Antonie van den Heuvel. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In his speech, Mayor Luc Feller thanked the members of the intervention center for the <strong>5,000 or so interventions<\/strong> they carried out last year. He also stressed the <strong>need for professional firefighters and volunteer rescue workers to work hand in hand<\/strong>. In this context, the Amicale would play an important role, as it fosters cohesion between firefighters. Mamer is a fast-growing community, so an efficient emergency service is essential,&#8221; he added. He wished the new CISMA chief every success in his new mission, and the outgoing chief every success for the future.
