To mark its 10\u1d49 anniversary, the P\u00e9tanque Club Mamer organized a major tournament in September on its field next to the CIPA in Mamer, involving 16 teams from the commune as well as a team from Leudelange and one from Bertrange. <\/span><\/p>\n The event raised around 2,100 euros. The club then rounded this amount up to 2,500 euros. All proceeds go to T\u00e9l\u00e9vie. T\u00e9l\u00e9vie coordinator Diane Wunsch therefore travelled to Mamer to receive the cheque. She warmly thanked the club’s management. <\/span><\/p>\n The commune was represented at the cheque presentation by Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the local council.
