Arriving from the &#8220;heavenly country&#8221; by train at Mamer station, they were warmly welcomed. Due to unstable weather conditions, the procession was cancelled and everyone was taken by bus to the cultural center.  <\/p>\n<p>St. Nicholas and his companion were greeted by mayor Luc Feller, alderman Ed Buchette, members of the town council and representatives of the Syndicat d&#8217;initiative et du tourisme, organizers of the event, while the Gemeng Mamer brass band provided the musical welcome. <\/p>\n<p>In the main hall, children waited with their parents. The large UGDA children&#8217;s choir sang traditional carols.
