To mark World Menopause Day, the Mamer Schlass hosted the play “Game Ovaries”, a humorous, sensitive and light-hearted take on a subject that is all too often ignored.<\/p>\n
Nearly 150 people, mostly women, attended the performance, which was both entertaining and enriching.<\/p>\n
Through scenes from everyday life, the play highlighted the emotions, doubts and challenges faced by women during this period of transition.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Commission for Family and Third Age in collaboration with Club Haus Am Brill, the performance was followed by a talk by Diane Elsen, certified menopause coach. She shed a sympathetic light on the physical and emotional changes associated with this stage of life, while encouraging an open, taboo-free dialogue on menopause. <\/p>\n
