The aim of the event was to raise awareness of climate issues and develop concrete solutions.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Alderman Roger Negri welcomed the participants. He stressed the importance of electricity management in the context of climate change and explained, among other things, that the municipality could only contribute a maximum of five percent to reducing the ecological footprint. The greatest responsibility lies with households. This is why information and awareness-raising initiatives are essential.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>After taking part in a short quiz on electricity consumption and the climate, and receiving explanations about the Climate Pact, participants were divided into groups to analyze different aspects of the subject and develop proposals for solutions. The workshops were led by members of the Mamer Climate Pact team, Norry Schneider from CELL, and Lars Linster, climate consultant at Schroeder &amp; Associ\u00e9s.
