{"id":39058,"date":"2025-04-21T10:40:59","date_gmt":"2025-04-21T08:40:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/spring-market-reopening\/"},"modified":"2025-04-21T10:41:00","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T08:41:00","slug":"spring-market-reopening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/en\/spring-market-reopening\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring market reopening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>The market&#8217;s spring opening was celebrated on Place de l&#8217;Ind\u00e9pendance, next to the church.<\/p>\n<p>Meat, charcuterie, cheese, flowers, plants, home products, clothes, brandies, Easter decorations or Mediterranean specialities: there was no shortage of choice, and the sun was out too.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Luc Feller, together with Alderman Roger Negri, Alderwoman Francine Closener and Jeff Bourg, president of the L\u00ebtzebuerger Maartverband, recalled that this market, held every first and third Friday of the month in Mamer, is a popular meeting place for shopping and socializing.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Bourg pointed out that this is one of the few afternoon markets in Luxembourg, although it is becoming increasingly difficult to find traders available for this schedule.<\/p>\n<p>The market season got off to a musical start with the Magic Jazzband.
