At Brill Park, an interesting exhibition on cotton production can still be visited until May 5. On a total of 20 panels, installed behind the Mamer Schlass, visitors to the park are given a wealth of information on the reality of cotton production. <\/span>The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between Fairtrade, the European School Luxembourg II and the Commune of Mamer. <\/span><\/p>\n At the opening, Mayor Luc Feller stressed the importance of responsible consumption and explained that, as a Fairtrade commune, Mamer is aware of its responsibility in this area and is acting accordingly. The mayor was accompanied by aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the municipal council. <\/span><\/p>\n Fairtrade was represented by Val\u00e9rie Murat and Aurore Dulieu, while the European School Luxembourg II was represented by its director Maurice Van Daal and Elisabetta Di Salvatore, head of the Fairtrade School at the European School in Mamer and initiator of the project.
