{"id":33772,"date":"2024-10-28T10:16:43","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T09:16:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/information-evening-for-associations\/"},"modified":"2024-10-30T11:41:04","modified_gmt":"2024-10-30T10:41:04","slug":"information-evening-for-associations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/en\/information-evening-for-associations\/","title":{"rendered":"Information evening for associations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>The communities of Mamer and Kehlen had jointly invited their local associations to an information meeting on the subject of &#8220;Green Events&#8221; on the one hand, and the new waste law on the other, which also had repercussions on the organization of public events due to various new obligations.<\/p>\n<p>A member of staff from Oekozenter Pafendall presented the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity&#8217;s &#8220;Green Events&#8221; project and explained the new legal provisions for waste management at public events, which will come into force on January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to promote a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly approach to organizing local events, for example by avoiding disposable packaging and crockery wherever possible, offering more local, regional and organic food and drink, and introducing waste sorting.<\/p>\n<p>The Oekozenter Pafendall and the SuperDr\u00e9cksK\u00ebscht are responsible for assisting associations wishing to embark on the path of &#8220;Green Events&#8221; in all their endeavors, and if the conditions are met, the association in question can apply for a one-off grant of 1,500 euros from the Ministry.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The communities of Mamer and Kehlen had jointly invited their local associations to an information meeting on the subject of &#8220;Green Events&#8221; on the one hand, and the new waste law on the other, which also had repercussions on the organization of public events due to various new obligations.
