Every year, as part of the Antigaspi<\/strong> campaign, citizens are invited… as part of the “Gielt Band”<\/strong> action, to pick fresh fruit directly from the trees in the various orchards<\/strong>. This prevents fruit from rotting under the trees because it is not picked or collected. <\/div>\n
The Commune of Mamer is taking part. You can pick apples, pears or cherries from a total ofaround 150 trees spread over three sites<\/strong>. The trees are marked with a yellow ribbon. <\/div>\n
