The orchestra was supported by <strong>vocal soloists Olio Galanti and Steven Klopp<\/strong>.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>This performance was <strong>preceded <\/strong> by a concert by <strong>Naomi Ay\u00e9<\/strong>, a Luxembourg finalist in the Eurovision Song Contest who lives in Mamer. The afternoon began with the Luxembourg brass band <strong>7 Moukekingen<\/strong>, followed by the group <strong>Bye Bye Bay<\/strong>.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Gilles Roth, the Minister of Finance<\/strong>, also <strong> took part<\/strong> in the popular celebration in his home town, as did the Mayor, Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and Alderwoman Francine Closener, as well as many members of the municipal council. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The <strong>culmination of National Day 2024<\/strong> in Mamer was once again the <strong>big fireworks display<\/strong> behind the Mamer Schlass. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once again this year, the large popular celebration of National Day on the Place de l&#8217;Ind\u00e9pendance in Mamer attracted hundreds of people.
