It’s a tradition on the Kinneksbond campus<\/strong> that on Candlemas Day, the little schoolchildren in early education and nursery, carrying their lanterns, pay a visit to the other classes and the school neighbourhood.<\/span><\/p>\n The proceeds<\/strong> are always donated to a good cause<\/strong>. This year, the money raised was donated to the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg<\/strong>, in the presence of Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and Alderwoman Francine Closener. <\/span><\/p>\n A total of \u20ac2,234.1 was raised, to which the Commune added a further \u20ac1,000. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n At a small ceremony in the school sports hall<\/strong>, Patrick Simon, representing the FAL, took the opportunity to show the children a short film explaining autism<\/strong>.
