{"id":28690,"date":"2024-05-13T14:50:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-13T12:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/great-success-for-the-second-edition-of-the-europe-festival\/"},"modified":"2024-07-03T16:51:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T14:51:54","slug":"great-success-for-the-second-edition-of-the-europe-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/en\/great-success-for-the-second-edition-of-the-europe-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Great success for the second edition of the Europe Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p><span>The <strong>second edition of the Europe Festival<\/strong> at the Schlass in Mamer was a <strong>great success<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A large number of visitors, including <strong>Finance Minister Gilles Roth<\/strong>, attended the <strong>cultural performances <\/strong> by the Greek, Ukrainian and Slovakian communities, the <strong>concerts<\/strong> by the Harmonie Gemeng Mamer and Audio Chill, or simply spent a <strong>pleasant moment in good company.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>FC Mamer 32, the local Red Cross <\/strong> and food trucks provided the catering. The workshops organised by the <strong>Commission for Intercultural Living Together and the Commission for Social Inclusion<\/strong> were also very popular, as was the presentation of the <strong>services offered by the Maison Citoyenne<\/strong>.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As for the <strong>children<\/strong>, they were delighted to see a performance by the <strong>Bimbo Theater<\/strong>. The play put on by the <strong>Maison des Jeunes<\/strong> was also very popular.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For <strong>Mayor Luc Feller, accompanied by Alderman Ed Buchette and Alderwoman Francine Closener<\/strong>, the festival reflected much of what characterizes the Commune of Mamer: <strong>a dynamic mix <\/strong> of traditions, languages, cultural diversity and shared experiences. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The second edition of the Europe Festival at the Schlass in Mamer was a great success.
