{"id":53566,"date":"2026-07-23T08:30:33","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T06:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/environment-mobility\/mobility\/parking-in-the-municipality\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T08:30:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T06:30:33","slug":"parking-in-the-municipality","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/en\/environment-mobility\/mobility\/parking-in-the-municipality\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking in the municipality"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Parking in the municipality<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong> In order to improve the overall parking situation<\/strong> for residents of the Municipality of Mamer, the municipal council has decided to introduce<strong> resident parking with a permit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this measure is <strong>to make it easier for residents to park near their homes<\/strong> and to prevent <strong>certain parking spaces from being permanently occupied<\/strong> by non-residents or company vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>streets covered<\/strong> by the residential parking program are divided into<strong> several zones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Without a permit<\/strong> for the relevant zone, cars may park on the street for <strong>up to 2 hours<\/strong>,<strong> Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., provided <\/strong>the <strong>parking disc<\/strong> is displayed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Please find attached a flyer with the following information: <a href=\"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/PARKING-RESIDENTIEL-ET-PARKING-PUBLIC.pdf\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-53490\">RESIDENTIAL PARKING AND PUBLIC PARKING<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><br \/>Residential Parking with a Permit<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/PLAN-STATIONNEMENT-REIDENTIEL-A-TELECHARGER.pdf\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-53495\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong>RESIDENTIAL PARKING MAP (DOWNLOADABLE)<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Residential Parking for Residents<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Residents of the streets covered<\/strong> by the residential parking program may apply <strong>for a residential parking permit<\/strong> that authorizes them to park their vehicle in accordance with the law, namely <strong>for up to 48 consecutive hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each household will be entitled to <strong>3 permits <\/strong><strong>at no cost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking permits<\/strong> may be requested on behalf of <strong>members of households<\/strong> residing at an address located in an area subject to residential parking regulations who <strong>own one or more passenger cars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These permits will be<strong>automatically renewed<\/strong> toward the end of the year. It will not be possible to issue stickers for companies or commercial vehicles. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/en\/procedures-2\/applications\/\">Application Form for Permanent Permits<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mamer.lu\/en\/procedures-2\/applications\/\"><\/a>A <strong><sup>fourth<\/sup> permit<\/strong> may be issued upon payment of an <strong>annual fee
