In collaboration with Youth & Work, the commune of Mamer <\/strong>supports young people in their search for employment and training. Youth & Work accompanies young people up to the age of 29 until they have found an orientation, training or job. Participation is free and voluntary. <\/p>\n <\/span>Unemployment can affect every young person. Once unemployed, a vicious circle begins.<\/strong> No job without work experience and no diploma – no work experience without a job. No wonder so many young people are unemployed while looking for work. <\/p>\n The young people of the commune of Mamer had sent in countless applications<\/strong> and generally received no response<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Together with the coach, they identify their personal and professional capabilities and find solutions and opportunities that suit them. Even after a long period of unemployment, finding a job is possible. <\/p>\n The current youth unemployment rate in Luxembourg is 20%<\/strong>, which also affects the commune of Mamer.
