In Materia<\/em>, Italian circus artist Andrea Salustri sublimates polystyrene – that ubiquitous plastic by-product – and turns it into a fully-fledged partner in play. Throughout this singular choreographic score, the performer gradually fades into the background, making way for the object and an immersive, hypnotic sensory exploration. <\/p>\n

Under the amazed gazes of young and old alike, the material comes alive, floats and vibrates, oscillating between delicate hesitations and dynamic movements that combine serenity and chaos.
